Colton is 11 yrs old and races car #29 in Mini Sprint Class. Colton's home town is Kaufman, Texas. He is an A-B honor roll student and a member of the UIL Math Team.

When Colton first began racing he was racing motorcyles at the age of 4yrs old. He competed motocross and cross country for 4 years and finished 3rd in the state in Texas Cross Country Racing Association in 2005 in 50cc intermediate class.

Colton had wins in T.O.R.O. and T.O.R.N. associations and was riding 65cc expert class when a couple of bad injuries happened in less than a year. Colton's mom (Karen), and dad (David) decided it was time to get in a cage with belts. Colton's dad had raced 250cc midgets and 1200cc mini sprints for about 14yrs, so he bought a Factor 1 mini sprint, tore down the moto cross track in the back yard and built a 1/5 mile oval. Colton was 9yrs old when he started to learn to drive. He practiced on home track as much as he could for a year. Just 2 tracks in the area would agree to let Colton race A class at 10yrs old.
